My roommates are bugging me out

Hey there everyone I have a really sad but true story about my good friend and his mom. First of all I owe them my life because I would be in the streets without them. My life is a whole crazy story of its own and this just adds to the chaos.

I’m not a doctor nor do I pretend to be one but I do know how to read and I pay attention. I believe my friends have a condition known as Delusional parasitosis. It’s a disorder that makes a person believe they are infested with bugs or parasites. It’s very rare and even more rare that two people in the same household to have it.

It’s almost impossible to speak with logic yo them and the more I try and disengage the harder they try to draw me back in to the delusion. When I read up about what could be going on with them I was astonished at the fact they fit every single category of the symptoms and when I read the article to them they immediately dismissed it and believe the government did this to everyone or aliens.

They have been collecting specimens and documenting and taking pictures for a variety of doctors and dermatologists and the things they collect are not anything but scabs, boogers, lint ,

Honestly I think my neighbors actually like being heard through these thin walls

It’s honestly weird. I can hear my neighbors being so loud during their private moments that there’s no way they don’t realize the whole building hears it. Every time it happens I just sit there thinking about it. Do they genuinely not care. Or is being heard actually part of it for them.
I’m not even angry. Just confused. Whenever I remember how thin the walls are I automatically lower my voice or turn the TV down. It’s a reflex. But with them it feels like that switch just doesn’t exist. Maybe some people really move through life without thinking about anyone around them. I honestly don’t know. It definitely makes living here… awkward.

I want to go back to the „feeling nothing” stage

Hi everyone, and my English is still not perfect, I haven’t posted much since my last post added a more than a year ago „I fell in love with terminally ill girl” when I wanted to got something off my chest.
The end of my confession is something I can’t tell anyone, so I’m here…
After many I think I can call it „traumatic” events: cancer, losing my love of my life (she died almost 6 years ago and the history of it is in my post i mentioned earlier), kidnapped and raped by 3 men, assault with a knife and I just lost a spark in my eyes, I really wanted to end it and I tried but unsuccessful and I’m not going to try again, I found the another solution (please don’t take it as advise).
I started to take x@n@x, it fried my brain and my feelings and that was what I was looking for, after a few months I quit, I didn’t feel anything and it was great because I had too much negative emotions and less the good ones, I lived by the rules I’ve made up: work, collage, meeting with friends, learn how to be data analyst - as I’m now (from 6 months), the things my life was getting back on track and then the mother (like a mother for me more than my mother) of dead girl I loved died…
